CHEMISTRY, PHARMACEUTICAL AND COSMETICS
In pharmaceutics, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics, the value lies in active ingredients - proteins, peptides, enzymes, flavonoids - often thermolabile molecules that must be isolated and concentrated without degradation. For this, we design mechanical and membrane technologies based on the chemical and physical characteristics of your fluid, paying attention to maximizing yields and preserving bioactivity.
Often the best solution combines multiple technologies, integrated into a single process.
Solid-liquid separation is the first phase of every extraction and purification process. Filter presses and mash filters treat high-solids-concentration fluids with automatic cycles and continuous operation, maximizing extraction yield; sonicators and cavitators break down the cellular membranes of the substrate to accelerate the release of active ingredients, without aggressive solvents.
Molecular fractionation isolates, concentrates, and enriches noble molecules such as flavonoids, tannins, proteins, and peptides. From microfiltration to reverse osmosis, each technology operates on a different degree of filtration: we choose the one suitable for the objective, to obtain the desired fraction with precision and repeatability. In the finer stages, concentration occurs cold, without the thermal shock that would denature proteins, vitamins, and enzymes.

For advanced purification, we use GRAFIM®, a patented graphene-based filter material, integrated into the DAMF system. It removes specific contaminants — odors, color, unwanted molecules over 300 Dalton — combining absorption, adsorption, and chemisorption. The system is fully automatic and regenerates with common detergents: no exhausted material to dispose of and reduced operating costs.
