Active ingredient extraction

Recovery of substances such as terpenes, polyphenols and the like by means of natural and non-invasive systems, allowing the characteristics of these principles to be preserved in a targeted manner.

These extractions can be part of a primary process or even a recovery process from production residues that are subsequently re-evaluated.

Functional foods

These are foods that have beneficial properties (fibre, vitamins, ...) but may also contain components that are not beneficial. Mecgem is able to treat the product allowing a reduction of non-beneficial substances improving the quality of the product as the beneficial substances are in a higher percentage after treatment.
